Welcome to the Job Function Analysis & Job Function Description Development course. The lessons in this course will ensure the participant can analyze a job and develop a comprehensive Job Function Description. These lessons also lead to the development of an Ergonomic Opportunity Report.

Upon successful completion of the Job Function Analysis & Job Function Description Development course the user will:

• Be able to complete all necessary steps associated with planning and scheduling a Job Function Analysis
• Be able to perform and document the findings of a Job Function Analysis
• Be able to transfer the critical Job Function Analysis findings to a Job Function Description
• Be able to use the Job Function Matching® Software to efficiently create standardized documents that reflect the essential functions (Job Function Demands) and the critical physical demands associated with those essential functions
• Be able to validate the Job Function Description created from the Job Function Analysis in order to meet the legal standards of validity as required by the EEOC.
• Be able to create common versions of Job Function Descriptions including Job Groups and Rotation Groups
