How It All Started
The research behind DSI Work Solutions began in the 1980s with Dennis and Susan Isernhagen, pioneers in functional capacity evaluation and workplace injury prevention. Their groundbreaking work established the foundation for the Job Function Matching System.
For over 25 years, Ginnie Marshall—our current CEO—worked alongside Dennis and Susan as faculty and on consulting projects. She brought additional expertise from direct work with industries including distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, and refineries.
Today, DSI Work Solutions carries forward this legacy of research-backed, practical education. Our methods have been refined through decades of real-world application, helping organizations achieve measurable results in injury prevention and workforce development.
