Welcome to the Functional Capacity Assessment Coursework. The lessons in this course will prepare you to perform a standardized evaluation that is work-like in nature but meets the standards expected from referral sources.
Upon successful completion of the Live Remote Training Functional Capacity Assessment Course, the user will:
• Understand the utilization of the Functional Capacity Assessment as it relates to identifying work ability
• Be able to answer referral questions related to return to work and disability management
• Observe an actual client situation
• Complete the required documentation while observing a client
• Observe the development of the final report
• The lessons in this course will also explain DSI’s work injury management and work injury prevention approach, including the various components that lead to a safe healthy and productive workforce.
